The Earth Standards Project has evolved from a community initiative in Cumbria in the UK where The Riversmeet Community Network has chosen these flags, made from discarded plastic, as a rallying point for those ready to work for a just, sustainable and peaceful world.

Our intention is to connect with and collaborate with similar projects worldwide and to encourage the sharing of ideas and solutions.

This website offers an opportunity for informal discussion and sharing of experiences, to support the development of networks of people who are turning their ideals into action at a local level.
